Air-water heat pump DAIKIN ALTHERMA LT 3 buy with installation in Kharkov at the best price
Advantages of the Daikin Altherma heat pump
• Daikin Altherma uses outside air as a heat source, which is an inexhaustible and free fuel.
• The Daikin Altherma heat pump is an energy-efficient heating system. To produce 3 kW of heat, the pump consumes 1 kW of electricity.
• The operating principle of the heat pump, based on extracting heat from the environment, allows significant savings on installation work.
• Daikin Altherma is an environmentally friendly heating system, since the use of a heat pump significantly reduces CO2 emissions into the environment.
• The Daikin Altherma heat pump is a complete system that allows you to heat and cool a room, as well as heat water for hot water supply.
• The Daikin Altherma climate system can operate on alternative energy sources such as solar collectors.
Operating principle of the Daikin Altherma heat pump
A heat pump uses atmospheric air as a heat source. The Daikin Altherma system is based on a closed circuit through which refrigerant circulates. Due to the processes of evaporation, condensation, compression and expansion, the temperature of the coolant increases, after which the heat is transferred through the heat exchanger to the water distribution system of the house. The resulting treated water can be used for underfloor heating, space heating using radiators, fan coil units, etc.
The Daikin Altherma system can be used for both low and high temperature heating systems.

Low temperature application of Daikin Altherma system
Functions of Daikin Altherma low temperature heat pumps
- The room temperature is set based on the temperature sensor readings
- Cooling and heating mode
- Vacation mode, reduced work modes
- Weekly timer that can be programmed
- Inverter control
The heat pump can be presented in different variations: a system of outdoor and indoor units or a monoblock (outdoor unit).
1. Daikin Altherma split system
In this embodiment, refrigerant (freon) circulates between the outdoor unit (compressor) and the indoor unit, in which the hydraulic elements are located.
The advantage of this system is that heating pipes do not require insulation. The Daikin Altherma split system can work for both heating and cooling of rooms. Additional plus
The advantage of a split system is that you can set a limit on the temperature of the heating or cooling medium.
• “Heating only” option with room thermostat connected to the indoor unit
• “Heating” and “domestic hot water preparation” option
• Option “heating/cooling” controlled by room thermostat and “domestic hot water preparation”
• Bivalent program
2. Daikin Altherma monoblock
The Daikin Altherma monobloc combines the compressor and hydraulic components of the system into one outdoor unit, so only plumbing is required to install the system.
All hydraulic components of the heat pump are protected against ice formation.
Daikin Altherma monoblocks are available in different variations
- heating or heating/cooling
- with or without sump heater
- single-phase or three-phase
- various powers 11 kW, 14 kW, 16 kW.
Monoblocks have a built-in additional electric heater that turns on at low temperatures.
Possible configurations:
• “Heating only” option with room thermostat connected to the indoor unit
• “Heating” and “domestic hot water preparation” option
• Option “heating/cooling” controlled by room thermostat and “domestic hot water preparation”
• Heating/cooling option without room thermostat

Daikin Altherma high temperature applications
Operating principle of Daikin Altherma high temperature heat pumps.
Heat from the ambient air is extracted by the outdoor unit (1A) and transferred to the indoor unit (1B) through a refrigerant-filled piping. The received heat in the indoor unit is heated to a predetermined temperature, after which it is transferred to the water circuit (to fan coil units, to the underfloor heating system, to radiators, to the hot water tank).
The cascade design of the Daikin Altherma compressor allows you to heat water temperatures up to 80° C without using a backup heater.
Benefits of Daikin Altherma high temperature blocks
• The system is inverter controlled, so the heat pump constantly adapts to actual heating needs.
• The Daikin Altherma heat pump is controlled in 2 ways:
- Smooth temperature change depending on weather conditions.
- Thermostat control, which is carried out through the user interface (3 in the diagram).
• The Daikin Altherma heat pump is used to heat domestic hot water; for this purpose, the system is equipped with a special tank (2 in the diagram).
